Stephanie Dehart, Earthscapes estimator, is an experienced professional with a strong background in construction and landscaping. Originally from Utah, she has been living in Arizona since the age of 5, making her feel, she says, 95% native! Stephanie attended Horizon High School in Scottsdale and holds an Associate’s Degree in Organizational Business Management.
With a total of 16 years in the construction field, Stephanie’s journey in the construction industry began when she started working as an accounts payable specialist for a local plumbing company. After spending 3 years there, she moved on to a Landscape & Masonry company where she worked for another 6, where she specialized in project coordination and estimating. For the past 6 years, Stephanie has been a valuable member of the Earthscapes team, primarily serving as a landscape estimator.
At Earthscapes, Stephanie’s main responsibilities include estimating project costs, procuring materials, writing purchase orders and subcontracts, as well as managing project budgets. One aspect she particularly enjoys about working in landscaping is the opportunity to bring projects to life and make them beautiful. However, Stephanie acknowledges that working with living materials can be very challenging, as they are vulnerable to the elements and require time to grow and develop.
Stephanie’s biggest piece of advice to others is to always love and enjoy what you do. She says, “Take things one at a time and enjoy and be thankful for every moment.”
In her free time, Stephanie loves to be with her family as much as she can. They all especially enjoy swimming, staycations, vacations, and camping.
